2009’s Blended Film Challenge

Below are the contestants that survived the first annual Blended Film Challenge.

The first film shown was entered too late to be eligible for any adjudication but the SharpCuts crew loved it so much we had to put it up here! It’s called Alien Adventures which cleverly combined the genre’s Comedy/Adventure/Sci-Fi.

The winning school was Guelph Collegiate Vocational Institute lead by the team Red Hat Studios and Chili Productions.  They created the film “H1N1 Legend”, a wonderful film which combined their genre’s of Horror/Action/Drama.

Second Place – “High Noon Zombie” – a great film from team Spartan Productions of Centennial Vocational Institute combining their genre’s of Horror/Western/Fantasy.

Third place goes to J.F. Ross High and team Haley and the Boys which combined the genre’s Sports/Comedy/Action to create “Dodgeball on THC”

Some of the other contenders were team Moviola from J.F. Ross which blended Musical/Horror/Comedy genre’s to create: “The Brewing Pot”

And team Two and a Half from J.F. Ross which blended Fantasy/Romance/Adventure genre’s together to create: “A Love Between”
